These terms apply to Suitcase List (suitcaselist.com), operated by Site Wise Software ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the site is
Suitcase List provides a free packing list generator and general guides. The tools run in your browser using the numbers you enter.
Provided as-is
The site, the tools and the content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Results are estimates. We don't guarantee that the site will be error-free or always available.
You're responsible for checking results before you rely on them. See our disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Site Wise Software and its owners, contractors and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to CAD $100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
Your use of the site
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload or scrape it, and no use that breaks the law. You may print or share your own results for personal use.
Content and trademarks
The site design, text and code belong to Site Wise Software or its licensors. Other brand and product names belong to their owners and appear only to describe or cite them. Mentioning a brand doesn't mean it endorses us.
Links to other sites
Some links go to other websites, including affiliate partners. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, products or policies.
If you sign up for email, you can unsubscribe anytime. Marketing email is optional and only sent if you tick "Also send me occasional tips from Site Wise Software. (Optional, unsubscribe anytime.)" See our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, especially to how we use your email address or if the site changes owner, we'll post a notice on the site and email subscribers before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and we agree that the courts of British Columbia, sitting in Victoria or Vancouver, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or the site, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Transfer of the site
We may transfer or assign these terms, and our rights and obligations under them, to anyone who acquires the site or its business, without your consent. We'll post a notice on the site (and email subscribers) when this happens. You may not transfer your rights under these terms.
